If you are a member of the public requiring legal advice, the Law Institute of Victoria or the Public Interest Law Clearing House (PILCH) may be able to direct you to a legal practitioner with expertise in your area of concern.

Community legal centres (CLCs) also may be able to provide legal advice free of charge. You may view a list of all CLCs operating in Victoria at the website of the National Association of Community Legal Centres.

You may also wish to contact the Victoria Legal Aid (VLA) Legal Information Service for free general information over the phone about the law and how they can help you.
